Through our Child Sponsorship Program, we maintain small, family-like homes: approximately 60 girls, 35 boys, and 67 children in Pétion-Ville. Each child receives housing, nutritious meals, healthcare, education (including support for vocational or higher education), and emotional support in a safe, nurturing environment.
Currently, our girls’ home houses 48 girls. Some have been at risk of being sent home or dismissed from school due to unpaid tuition—putting their academic year and future at risk. Education is a transformative path out of poverty, and your support ensures they can stay enrolled and succeed.
Yes! We organize mission trips ranging from 1–2 weeks for churches, schools, youth groups, medical teams, and families. Role opportunities include working in orphanages, clinics, construction, agriculture, sustainable village projects, and organizing child food ministries. Safety and hosting are prioritized—many teams return again and again.
Founded by Bishop Joel and Pastor Doris Jeune, who remain President and Vice President, we operate under a board of directors with 11 members—including 9 independent voting members—and strong governance policies.
Since 1974, under the leadership of Bishop Joel and Pastor Doris Jeune, the organization has grown to include:
-70 schools and multiple churches
-3 orphanages (for girls, boys, and in Pétion-Ville)
-A pediatric hospital, medical/dental clinic, and Grace Hospital & Medical Centre
-A feeding program (“The Lord’s Kitchen”)
-Homes for elderly widows
-A vocational school, radio station, and sustainable communities
-Grace Village in Carrefour, which served as a refuge after the 2010 earthquake, hosting over 25,000 displaced people
Our mission is to follow Jesus’ command to work with the poorest and oppressed—helping them break the cycle of spiritual darkness, poverty, sickness, chronic dependency, and ignorance. We do this through our core values: RESCUE, RELIEVE, RESTORE, and EMPOWER.
Grace International, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) Christian non-profit organization based in Florida, with its main operations in Haiti (and parts of the Dominican Republic). We’re ECFA-accredited, meaning we adhere to rigorous standards of financial accountability, transparency, and ethical fundraising.
We combine spiritual ministry with humanitarian aid, ensuring that while we meet physical needs, we also nurture faith and community leadership. Our long-term presence in Haiti since 1974 gives us deep local trust and partnerships.
We prioritize direct program funding for education, orphan care, healthcare, and feeding programs. A small portion covers administrative and operational costs to ensure sustainability and accountability.
Haiti faces political instability, gang violence, food insecurity, and limited healthcare infrastructure. These realities make our work more urgent and require flexibility, creativity, and consistent donor support.
We’re dedicated to nurturing the child’s growth and development. Thank you for trusting us to be part of their journey. Stay connected for updates, tips, and more!
